Trip Cancellation Cover is provided under Voyager Group Travel Insurance Policy offered by ICICI Lombard GIC Ltd.

If your trip is cancelled due to a medical reasons or carrier delay, compensation will be provided.

How to Avail the Benefit?

To claim the refund of cancellation charges, customer must register their claim online by calling at ICICI Call center (18002666) or through Email (ihealthcare@icicilombard.com ) or by logging into the app or through IL website.

 

Agent/Passenger needs to intimate ICICI about the MediCancel Insurance within 7 days of the departure date.

Timely submission of these documents is advised for a smooth claim settlement.

Claim will be processed by ICICI Lombard team within 14 calendar days after receipt of complete documents from customer

In case of claim approval, payment is made to the customer and settlement letters (soft copy) are shared.

In case of rejection of claim, query is shared with the customer for further response. If not deemed right, it will be rejected. A rejection letter (soft copy)  will be shared as well.

  • Valid on booking made through TravClan App/Website with flight starting in India.
  • The departure date should be after 3 days of booking.
  • Valid for passengers aged 0 – 80 years
  • Valid on bookings done after 23rd July’23

As per the insurance claim, in the event of cancellation of the flight ticket,  you can claim reimbursement up to ₹3,500 (one-way)/ ₹7,000 (round trip) in case of a domestic flight trip.

 

 

In case of an international flight trip, maximum compensation provided will be USD 500 (one-way)/ USD 1,000 (round trip).

 

Complete airline cancellation fee subject to the sum insured will be refunded, if the claim satisfies all the terms and conditions of the policy.

Step 2: Contact the ICICI support team for reimbursement of cancellation charges by calling at ICICI Lombard Call center (18002666) or through Email (ihealthcare@icicilombard.com ) or by logging into the app or through IL website.
Step 3: Submit your documents as specified by the ICICI Lombard Team
Step 4: Your claim will be settled by ICICI Lombard team in 7-15 days.

Yes, you can claim TravClan cancellation fee.

 

After ICICI Lombard Team has approved your claim and you have received the confirmation, you can raise a request on the portal under ‘Other’ in the ‘My Booking’ Section. 

 

You can claim refund from ICICI Lombard team. The maximum compensation provided will be ₹3,500 (one-way)/ ₹7,000 (round trip) in case of domestic flight trip.

 

In case of an international flight trip, maximum compensation provided will be USD 500 (one-way)/ USD 1,000 (round trip).

Policy documents will be received by email and SMS within 72 hours of booking. It will be sent to the email id & phone number entered while booking the flight on TravClan App/Website.
